ChildCalc is for parents or families who share custody of children as a result of
divorce, separation, or other arrangements. Select a date, and the program
quickly displays whether the child is scheduled to be with "MOM" or "DAD".
This program can be downloaded
for free and will run as a Demo, but it requires purchase of a license key
file to run it more than 10 times.

Initializing ChildCalc
The 1st time ChildCalc is run, you must enter a child's name in the
"New child's name" field at the bottom of this screen. After entering a
name, tap the [add_new_child] button to accept this child.
Use the controls on the next screen to configure this child's schedule.
After ChildCalc is initialized, launching the program will bring up a
date selector screen, followed by the main display screen, so you can quickly
determine where a child will be on any given day.

Setup Screen
The ChildCalc weekly rotation runs from Monday through Sunday.
Tap the [reset...] button to select a 1st Monday on which to begin
this child's schedule.
Use the rows of buttons on the right side to specify whether a particular day
of the week is either a "MOM" day or a "DAD" day. A minimum of two weeks (rows) are represented,
with the option to add a third and fourth week, depending on the child's
specific scheduling requirements.
16 different holidays may be scheduled on an odd-year/even-year basis.
Either parent may be selected for each holiday setting.
To save the setup for this child, tap the [Save] button - This will change the button text
to "?" - tap it again to confirm saving the configuration.

Main Screen
The top half of the main screen displays the currently selected date,
and which parent the child is scheduled to be with on this date.
Use the [Go to..] button to select a new date. Use the [Setup] button
to return to the current child's setup screen to view or edit their schedule setup.
Use the [Select child] button to select a different child, or to add a new child.
The controls on the bottom half of this screen can be used to add an event
to the Palm Datebook for the selected date. Simply enter a description and tap a
time field to open the time selector. Set the time for the event and
tap the [add_to_datebook] button.

Child Selection Screen
The name of the currently selected child is displayed in the upper-right
corner of the main screen. To select a different child, or to add a new child,
tap the [Select_child] button on the main screen to display this Child Selection Screen.
To select a different child, tap their name in the listbox.
To delete a child from the list: first tap the (delete) selector to display the
[delete] button. Select the child's name in the listbox, and tap the [delete]
button - this will change the button text to "?" - tap it again to confirm
deleting this child. To cancel a pending deletion, tap the (select) control.
To add a new child to the list, enter their name and tap the [add_new_child]
button at the bottom of this screen.

System Requirements:
ChildCalc version 2.2 uses a different data structure from previous
versions. If you are upgrading from a previous version, you must DELETE the previous
version before installing version 2.2. Be sure to write down any setup information
for previously configured children, as you will need to re-configure them in version 2.2.
ChildCalc is designed for devices running PalmOS 3.5 or higher. It has
been tested on Palm, Handspring, and Sony Clie devices, but it has not been
exhaustively tested on all models.
