While most of the features of the original SAGE program are now available in SAGE II,
some are still in the process of being converted to Java. This page will be kept

English Translation List 12/25/2001 - All words, phrases, and abbreviations
contained in the SAGE II programs are contained in this list. We have a database engine that can
automatically create language-specific versions of the SAGE II program code, based on translations of this list.
Users interested in non-english versions of the SAGE II programs may email us a translation of this list.
We will enter the translations into our database and create new translated versions of the program.
Currently the SAGE II programs are available on-line in English, Spanish, and Swedish.
Swedish version of SAGE II 12/01/2001 - We would like to thank
Fredrik Huss, M.D., Tomas Karlsson, and
Roger Andersson, National Burn Unit, University Hospital of Linkoping, for their help
in making the Swedish version of SAGE II possible. They have generously contributed their time and effort to
translate the SAGE II program into Swedish.
Calculation adjustments 09/20/2001 - The adult diagram calculations for "hands" and "neck" have
been adjusted slightly to align them with the original Lund/Browder chart %'s. This change was made
in order to facilitate the process of integrating SAGE II with the TRACS database, and to more closely align
the SAGE II calculations with common expectations. Existing diagram files will still work just fine, but may
show a slight change in % when recalculated, if the injury involves the hands or neck.
Unit Converter 07/23/2001 - Popup calculator converts between english and metric units for both height and weight. Click on the "Kilos" or "Ht.(cm)" label to access the converter.
Storage and Retrieval 03/23/2001 - users can store and re-open SAGE II diagrams.
Text palette 12/01/2000 - users can overlay their own text anywhere
on the diagram.
Amputation palette 10/31/2000 - Currently, the cm^2 calculations are
disabled while using this palette.
Spanish version of SAGE II 08/17/2000 - We would like to thank
Dr. Carlos E. De los Santos, Pearl F. Ort Burn Unit, for his help in making the Spanish version of
SAGE II possible. He has generously provided his time and effort to carefully translate the complete SAGE II program,
and web site, into Spanish.
